A deep garnet color with orange edges. Medium tears. Strong nose initially with red fruit notes and a light earthy note. Medium minus acid, medium plus tannin. Black current, red fruit, minerals. Flavors meld and mellow into balance after aeration (at least an hour).

Nicest wine on their menu. Hints of olive and smoked meat. Happy 33rd

Am excellent dark berry start with a tinge of date. The middle is dark chocolate, and the wine finishes with a mineral black pepper spice.

Pure red fruit, almost delicate but with nice concentration, it could use more complexity but is quite pleasant.

2015. Medium color, aromas and body. Flavorful wine that went well with cheeses, rib roast and lobster tails. A good deal from Whole Foods.

2015 opened Oct 2017. Raspberries and cherries on the nose. Not much happening on the front of the palate, except for a little tartness. (From the nose, which is fantastic when you open up the bottle, I was expecting more fruit up front.) Nice medium bodied tannins the rest of the way down make this a lovely wine — but not a great wine. Perhaps it will evolve in a few more years into something greater, but it doesn't seem to have the tannic complexity to be a long term gem. Perhaps I'll be proved wrong..,
