This wine wasn’t dry but it was just more bitter than I like my whites. It was light and smooth while still being about 12% ABV.

Solid. Pale, yellow/green. Aromas of melon, citrus, luscious fruits. Quite sprizy on the palate, which helps balance the residual sugar. A good choice to pair with spicy foods. Drunken noodles tonight. Good value from @lastbottlewines

Compared to the dry, this is very sweet to taste. Almost too sweet. The sugar content is around .2%. This was paired with a salty cracker which made the sweetness really burst. Not a huge fan. It was interesting to taste the difference between this one and the dry. I get similar notes on the nose (citrus and ginger) but it’s very different when settling on my taste buds.

Grabbed another ‘18, still nice! Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Pale lemon with aromas of ripe stone fruits and honey blossom notes, very typical of Riesling. On the palate flavors of crisp apple and peach with honey notes, lively acidity that serves best with food. Medium finish ending with mineral notes. For $10, great value.

This wine has barely any color at all, just a very faint yellow-green tint. The nose is nice. There is a slight trace of petrol, which I always love to find in a Riesling. More dominant is a lanolin note which joins a light floral aroma. The palate straddles the fence between dry and sweet, offering up some tasty stone fruit and a savory side marked by gentle spices and a workable acidity. I would like a drier wine better, but I drank this quaff gladly and poured another.

Crisp and a little fizzy. A little dry and not real sweet.
