Check the date 2002! I was nervous opening it but happily surprised. A deep gold in color from age. Stewed fruit on the nose. Smooth, rich and velvety on the palate with a slight 'honey' accent. Still had abundant acidity. I would say it compares favorably to several older Grand Cru white burgundies I've had.
