Chocolate and vanilla all day. Shocker, lots of bourbon notes. It actually tastes like a slightly boozier version of Founders Backwoods Bastard, despite being a stout and not a scotch ale. Will let this one age another year or two before I have the next bottle.

So well made, but not in balance yet...time to go older!

2007 dark rich baking chocolate creme texture with a dark strap molasses, chocolate brownie, dark caramel. Lovely at a great spot. Mind blowing.

Very smooth. Hot. But the extra years have speed it to mellow. Chocolate, roasted malts. A little vanilla. A nice BCS. I still prefer Founders KBS.
