Maybe the Ale I've ever had.

Nose of banana, bubble gum, orange peel, clove, pepper. All of the aromas come through on the palate. Nice, dry, spicy finish with firm but not overbearing bitterness. Fantastic mouthfeel. Fine bead with a silky texture. One of the best if not the best domestic tripels. The balance of fruit, spice, alcohol, and hops is excellent. Hard to believe this stuff is 9%.

Belgian-style, indeed! Pleasantly yeasty, not overbearing, a hint of malty sweetness balancing the alcohol and hops--you'd never know this is 9%, which is dangerous!

Can't believe this isn't rated higher. Really amazing drinkable beer. Dangerous, and oh so tasty.

A bit on the sweet side. Still solid.
