Light straw in color with a yellow tint. Strong nose of citrus, lemons, gooseberry, grapefruits, green apples, minerals, spices, herbs and green vegetables. Full bodied, smooth and buttery, with medium plus acidity. Extra dry on the palate with lemons, green apples, grapefruits, bitter almonds, spices and black pepper. Spicy finish with limes and bitter almonds. This Unoaked Chardonnay from Chile is drinking nicely now. Simple, spicy, refreshing and a bit bitter on the ending. To me it feels more like a spicy Sauvignon Blanc. A Good food wine. I had it by the pool, extra chilled. Made with 100% organic grapes. 13.5% alcohol by volume. $12
