A little mocha... And you can taste the cherry! Great wine! Comfortable time opening up. Very affordable too.

Color of clear ruby, lighter than I expected as she is a cab. Nose of cocoa upon opening. Nose of some cherry, some medicinal herbs, alcohol spice, about average. Taste is sweeter than nose, with ripe cherry, some coffee, some Oaks, and some medicinal herbs once again. She does have some good backbone of tannins. Aftertaste is dominated by warmth of alcohol, and yet again the medicinal syrup note. Not my plate although she is actually decent with above average flavors.

A very bright red with a medium body. The aroma is great with notes of blackberry and raspberry. It is peppery going down and reminds me of gravel. It does feel somewhat flat which is most likely due to the age of the wine. I would imagine it was much better during its youthful time given the faded brightness I feel from it but as age has made it bitter and dull.
