Light, bright, nice citrus and floral notes. Would like to have a little more tannic structure.

Gerard Bertrand was born and raised in the South of France, making wine with his father, Georges, since the age of 10. Went to a private Rosé tasting and this was one of the better ones. Deep pink with fruit, floral and citrus aromas. Palate shows peachy notes with citrus tones, fresh and crisp. A tad drying on the finish ending with fruit character. Nicely balanced. Tasting Sample.

Someone spent a lot of time on the packaging for this wine, from the custom bottle mold, down to the pink hued Vino-Seal glass closure. Is the wine good? For it's price, the Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses 2014 is quite drinkable, with enveloping notes of ripe honeydew and cantaloup on the nose. The minerally vein coursing through this Langeudoc pink is all limestone and schist, focused to through to a persistent finish. Dried cranberry and pink grapefruit lend complexity.

It’s ok but for $14 there are others that are better.
