This is a magnificent wine for the money. It drinks so well: tight mousse, strong yeasty brioche, clean acidity and a fruit, with some mineral on the finish.

Bottle of undetermined age, probably 2007. Not entirely flat but lifeless carbonation, and caramel-cake oxidative notes reminiscent of an old IPA.

Sunday night a I had a sparkling wine I needed to open and this Roederer Estate Brut Anderson Valley Sparkler foots the bill. On the nose there is lemon, green apples, apple blossoms, brioche and minerality. The palate brings notes of lemon, pear, green apple, almonds and wet flint rocks. This wine is fully complex with a medium body and a creamy mouthfeel, there is medium + acidity that leads us to a long crisp fresh finish. A very clean a pleasing wine that I could drink anytime. Have a great week ahead and stay safe. Nostrovia!

Generously fruit forward. Balancing zippy acid. Great for the price.

Founded in 1982, Roederer Estate adds oak-aged reserve wines to all their blends to create complex, dry and harmonious sparkling wines. Had this a year ago, distributor said this is a new run. First Brut California sparkling produced by Champagne Louis Roederer. Straw, nice mousse and bubbles for this 60% Chardonnay & 40% Pinot Noir blend. Crisp Apples, creamy mineral tones, nice balance with acidity. Lingering finish ending with oak, lemon and nutty characteristics. Consistent. Very nice!
