Medium lemon color with fresh fruit aromas of stone and citrus fruits with some floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, lime citrus and pear, lively acidity, with flinty notes. Medium finish, ending with notes of fruit, citrus and mineral spice character. Drink now!

Needed a new Chardonnay and decided to try Louis Jason since generally good. This 2018 vintage drunk Mar 2020. Bouquet is terrific with hint of fruit, apple. Taste is dry with green apple but not sharp. Just enough to make it great with pink trout and grilled vegetables. No hint of oak which would be nice. Nice to keep around.

From the Maconnais region of Burgundy, its predictably high-quality, 100% Chardonnay, vinified without the use of oak. Clean and lean, the citrus and mineral notes come through vividly. Refreshing acidity, only 13% abv. Drink up.

Tart and crisp for a Chardonnay. Very refreshing.

Light straw with stone and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate crisp apple with lemon citrus notes. This medium-body wine was smooth and a mineral touch with overall good balance. The wine finishes with a savory touch on a mid-length ending. Consistent quality.

Pale lemon in color. Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with mild complexity, and a soft mouthfeel. Showing red and yellow apples with light wood, spices, limes, grapefruits and sea salt. Medium finish with limes and almonds. This is a tasty Chardonnay from Burgundy. Not complex, but easy drinking and good by itself or with food. 12.5% alcohol by volume. 88 points.

This wine is one of the best values for a high quality white burgundy from the 2013 vintage ($10.95 at LA Wine Co in Culver City). Crisp, clean and refreshing!
