I was hoping this wine would be punk rock, but it's got a soft touch. Yacht rock.. Very inviting supple mouthfeel, but then it fails to impress. Juicy berries, plum, plenty of oak, gleeky acidity, all good. But the overwhelming alcohol burn makes it hard to enjoy. At least as a sipper. Ribeye would be nice. Watching Jeopardy.

This is the wine Ryan and I bought in Half Moon Bay after our Easter lighthouse trip. Not gonna lie, I bought it for the gorgeous label and affordable price. But it's fruity and light and tasty...unlike most cabs I've tried. I would buy it again. I'm enjoying it while waiting for Emilio to bring me tacos from FB.
