Thicker than 2003. But we can drink it from the beginning. Black currant. Concentration. Ink. 1 hour decanting is necessary. 2005 @3850, Eva - LGM, 221218-220121

Lovely tobacco leaf development but still impressively youthful in color. No rush to sip this up.

Oh quite nice. Similar in “inoffensive but not exceptional” notes as I felt about mag of Margaux. A lot more baking spice. A hint more texture which says maybe yes to some but I like a velvet texture but I asked this. It was an excellent foil to super-spicy and ultra-sweet cranberry: the baking spice sang. Good stuff for the tday dinner win.

Blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc, and half a % each of Malbec and Merlot, aged 15 months in 33% new French oak, 51% of fruit from Atlas Peak District, deep Ruby with aromas of vibrant dark fruit, sweet spice and herbs. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with tobacco spice, toasty oak, cinnamon and floral notes. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, cedar, mocha and mineral character, Nice, should age well.

Corked, I guess. Sour and awful. No nose at all, not even a corky one, and no fruit.
