2012 vintage. Classic Riesling (okay I'm old and still want to call it Johannisberg Riesling) aromas. Slight potassium sorbate notes in the background. Green apple flavors and acidity. Just enough sweetness to balance the acidity.

Neither ashamed of its sweetness nor too reliant upon it; harvested well after the piercing tart green of young fruit has mellowed, and well, well before the tarted up perfuminess of a bunch hung too long. A Teutonic goldilocks for sure, but decidedly masculine, disciplined, playful. Oh, and ten bucks. Buy a case.
