One of the most enjoyable Zins I've had in a long time. Tremendous cherry bomb with rich after tones and a bright, full finish.

Not a big zinfandel person. Don’t mind a blend . Straight ZIN doesn’t interest me anymore at all.

Hot garbage nose. Cloying, over extracted, hot and sweet. This is Lodi zin at its worst. Gross and certainly not worth $15+

This tends to be among the best of the slightly sweet Lodi Zins. It is restrained in its jamminess and, while big, not full of port-level ABV. The flavors are blackberry and raspberry but the acidity is more balanced than most. I would recommend pairing with a spicy or peppery steak dinner, not so much as a cocktail wine.
