Not as bad as I remember it. It’s been a while though. Slightly, bruised pear & red & green apple, lime zest, lemon pulp, some ginger white spice w/ a touch of heat, limestone mixed in volcanic minerals, crisp chalkiness, sea spray, yeasty bread dough, yellow & white spring flowers, lively acidity and a balanced & nicely polished elegant finish that last 45 seconds and lands on volcanics. Emirates SFO.

No notes. Friend’s 47th bday celebration. Memorable for the pretty fruit: custard, star fruits, & green grapes.

When La Veuve is on, she’s on. The toastiness, fruit and balance are all impeccable.

This entry-level Champagne is always nice to begin the evening with. Medium plus in body with medium plus sized bubbles and high acidity. Showing citrus, lemons, limes, earth, black pepper, minerals and light yeast. Tangy finish with limes and light almonds. Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food. Nicely balanced and easy drinking. Very consistent through the years. 12% alcohol by volume. 89 points. $48.

Crisp, tiny bubbles, yeast and lemon zest on the palette. Lovely!

Some nice oxidative appley aromas. Palate is deep and hits the right notes. Well made, if not much verve. After being spoiled by great grower champagne all through quarantine, it’s actually surprising to try a bottle of big house bubbles I used to love and find it enjoyable but kinda boring.

Received as a gift. Green apple, quince, slight toast and bright acid. Gotta say, it’s nice, but not really exciting. I think the mass production has taken away from the quality. Lots of great Cava could win me over instead.

Slightly sweet for my taste, but enjoyable enough in the tropical weather this Christmas 2019 in Florida with my kids and my Dad. To my Delectable community - In Vino Veritas. Enjoy!
