Vintage 2007 | impressive wine! Excellent black fruit, brushwood. Refinement and rondeur. Awesome balance. For me a Burgundian expression in this wine made with Bordeaux blend grapes.

Well this was interesting. Tasting after eachother: Lynch Bages 2009 Sena 2007 Chadwick 2007 In all honesty I hope the LB is just in a numb phase. It didnt do the trick yet. Still has a lot of acids whilst drinking. The nose however is great but taste wise it doesnt match. Sena is as Sena can be. In your face! Plenty of everything: blackfruit, sweet, ripe, some wood, umami always. Very yummi. Then the Chadwick that is close yo perfection. That is Sena but distinguished. Calm but present. Lush and you taste it for minutes.

Bachelor night oct 2018. Top chilean wine winning in berlin tasting. Nose intriging. Charcoal, tea, mulberry and unique sweet sour smell that maybe chilean wine charactor. Tobacco then spicy green chewing gum, almost eculytus complex nose. Dark rose. Palate - sour bitter initial hit. Woody, tar, black n blue fruit. Quite smooth but still plenty of tannin that is abit harsh and tangy. Rather bitter like chinese med. The striking sweet bitter sense i need to drink more chilean to know if their terrior character. Getting more complex with more decanting. Getting more floral (similar to my home gardenia sticks), spicy and green...a very unique wine that i am not sure i like, very different. From this wine i understand more what floral means. Best chilean wine for me so far

2007 vintage in May 2018. Power wine! Dark ripe black fruit. Cedar. Coffee. Purple color. Fantastic young wine. Could keep for another 10-15 years! Thanks B!

Looks like a youngster in the glass but tertiary flavors are abound. Fresh herbs, bordering on spice but not there. Chocolate and cigar box. It's almost as if the advancement has occurred in the flavors and nothing else. Intrigue.
