Shimmery deep ruby in color with nice legs in the glass. Aromas of dark fruits, cedar, cardamom, vanilla, and a hint of nutmeg. Medium body, this wine is drier than I anticipated. Acidity a tad high. For me, this wine didn’t deliver up to its nose. It’s fine, but nothing too exciting here. Will let it breathe a bit and change if warranted. I actually liked it better straight out of the bottle rather than giving it air.
