Always a big fan of Brunier. This bottle wasn’t as amazing as I was expecting.

Golly this is good. It appeals to my tastebuds tho for this region I might expect riper fruit? This wine was dang tart but maybe that is just the bracing minerality speaking up. Bracing. That is this. All is fruity and good and then it is just a good hit of licking a slate rock and peppercorn. We are so all licking rocks no?

Man the 2015s in Gigondas are so good. Black and boysenberry compote, crushed black cherries, ripe blueberry. Classic mix of garrigue, brown spice, and mix of pleasantly astringent herbs. Floral throughout. Elegantly structured with its bright ruby hue, silky tannin, and noticeably fresh acid profile from a dollop of Cinsault and Clairette.
