Popped and poured and the nose is incredible right off the bat. Crushed fresh grapes/magical grape soda. Lifted purple and blue fruit. Flowers. Tart and so transparent with a piquant, foxy, brambly, currant-y quality that keeps your nose in the glass. Wow, this is such a pleasure to drink. Keeps going with blood, gravel, mint, subtle smoke and lingering sweetness. I love this wine and I’m kicking myself for only buying 2 bottles. So elegant. Holy shit. 24 hours and this is absolutely singing.

Nice surprise ! This Cote Du Rhone from Jamet really is a top PQ wine - would for sure beat many other more expensive wines in a blind tasting !
