Drinking crazy good now. Rich, layered, early season crisp pear, white peach, floral. This is better than the last bottle a year ago, and is pushing 9.4

Not fresh. Disappointingly oxidised to a degree. Its one saving grace was that it was still saline.

Green fruit esthers, quince, pear, chalky minerals, on the nose. Lots of pretty green and yellow fruit on the open knit palate, with pleasant bit of contrasting bitterness and sweetness on the finish, and enough acid to carry the bubbles. This is great, planning to hold a few bottles for 5-10 years. Incidentally, handily beat the Lassaigne side by side, at a third the price.

Perfectly dry zero dosage and balanced! Under ripe white peach, zippy acidity, elegant small bubbles. Montlouis for New Years and my first #instantpotrecipe

Touches of sweetness and brioche, underpinned by gripping acidity. A lovely wine.

A nice entry into the world of sparkling Loire Chenin. Dry and crisp, but also full of plenty of baked pear and apple drizzled with honey. Best pretty cold, as it warms it loses some of the tension that keeps it interesting.

30 minutes or so of glorious Chenin, then it dived off a cliff into a sea of broken beer bottles. Angular and jagged.
