The 2005 Pavillon Blanc is simply stunning and is offering an incredible amount of appeal at this stage. Showing wonderful energy and vibrancy, this begins with striking aromas of tropical fruits, ripe pear, lime zest, honeysuckle and crushed stones that all take shape beautifully. This displays remarkable balanced and precision, as it continues to impress all the way through the laser focused finish. This is an utterly brilliant Sauvignon that is absolutely delightful today and readers who are lucky enough to have this in their cellar are in for a serious treat.

Surpresa positiva! Evoluiu muito bem desde a última garrafa em 2013. Complexo como um Sauternes sem RS

Very different than any white bordeaux I have ever had. This is made in a very rich style: tons of new oak, very ripe, no pyrazines. Would never guess this was Sauv blanc blind. All you get is vanilla from the oak. Smells like white burgundy in the glass. Visually....pale lemon with a greenish tint in the glass is the only clue its sauvignon blanc.
