2016 vintage. Espresso, black olive, cassis and mint in the nose. Big dark cherry exclamation point in the middle of the proceedings. This one needs a solid five years + to properly evaluate...tastes like it’s hiding a deep dark delicious secret to be revealed at the proper time.

Delicious St Emilio from fabulous vintage. So good, I am reluctant to sell the last case I imported. Has a great 10-15 year life ahead. 94 now, I’m on agreement with Jeb, James and Antonio. Great black cherry, health dose of oak and grip and cherry lozenge. Yum with Bolognese.
