Gingerbread, tobacco and tea leaf, cloves, sweet cherry acidity, some powdery tannins left, bay leaf, orange peel, balsamic vinegar, beginning the autumnal phase of its life. Beautiful now, especially if you enjoy tertiary notes in your wine. Beautiful, balanced, and holds its own in the glass. An "older youngster," so to speak.
