My. Goodness. The nose on this may be one of the best Cali chards I’ve come across...rivals Aubert’s Lauren. Sweet mint, burnt lemon meringue and guava. Intoxicating. Glycerin like on the palate...front and mid-palate have Aubert’s signature lemon cream note. Lengthy finish highlighted by a cobbler like note. Fantastic!

Wow, one of the very best Chardonnays I’ve had in quite some time. Absolutely delicious. Layers of lemon, tropical fruit, marshmallow, and pie crust.

This is pure class in a glass. Resembles a Sauternes on the nose, with rich notes of apricot, pineapple and brioche. Palate has weight and density. More exotic white fruits present, along with white flowers, citrus notes and pears. Finishes with a soft, round sweetness. Always a stunning example of chard from Aubert.

I'm a big fan of the Aubert chards but I do sense some stylistic changes the last couple vintages....I get more acid, fat and sweetness and less clean fruit than in the past and I've been buying since '07 so I feel qualified to render an opinion on the difference. These characteristics wane a bit a day after opening so I suggest a decant if you are opening now....but I would hold. Still an excellent Chardonnay but not the extraordinary wine I've come to expect.

Awesome 2014 CIX Chard from Aubert! Creamy with loads of orange marmalade, and stone fruit. Great texture and Mouthfeel. Aubert does it again. Il Villagios Restaurant on Fathers Day with the family. CB a 99+

Already past it’s prime. We’ve had too many aged Aubert’s present like this. Extremely disappointing.
