Crazy restaurant wine list value @ $190, I think. Modest decant. Dark red color. Nose contains blackberries, olives, and anise. Unique on the palate as it’s a mix of Napa Cab, CDP, and Rioja. Medium plus depth with big tannins, a silky texture, and high alcohol present.

Boom. Big Cali cab. Drinking well with floral nose - but with secondary notes of walnut and bergamot. Pairing well with latkes - the ripe acidity cuts through the oily notes - which I thought would last for 8 days - but the wine stands firm.
