Is the name suggesting that it's killing CA Sav Blanc? If so, long live Brutus! I was exited to try this Scholium Sav Blanc project. I got nice champagne like yeastiness on the nose, prickly acidity on the tounge and lovely Gravenstein apple on the finish.

2013 vintage. Found this bottle in the list at North Pond. Nice acidity, crisp & clean. Paired well with the artic char.

Awoken in the evening with eyes closed, but hearts open, I set about an unexpected surprise, the warming sounds of wandering, soft in the universe, an unforeseen visitor and a strange but familiar tongue. Behind the mystic cityscapes: the faint glow of wood fired hearth crackling, cackling the laughing of friends. A wine is poured: generous and forthgiving, giving forth, for, four warm friends in the night, stolen from the memories, lost but not forgotten. She emerged from the cellar with a bottle to marry with our Alsatian feast, a special surprise: Neither quiet nor loud: graceful power, lustful but demure, quixotic but cantankerous, but nor loud: a wonderful surprising. Thank you, Abe #thewarmfeelingsofthecoldnight
