Fooook meee! Do love #Tondonia Viña Gravonia 05' blanco #crianza it's the nuts, it smells of nuts and stewed apples and almonds & has a liquid mineral core with waxy lemon, golden syrup, Mr. Tom bars (remember them?), also smells of honey, acacia, toffee popcorn & lemon oil. Has a wonderfully fat palate with a chewy nuttiness along with rich lemon rind, peach & apricots (specially the skins), juicy, long and complex finish. Works great with fish (tonight with smoked haddock in a cheddar & chive sauce, butter braised samphire, edamame & butter bean salad with giant couscous n feta)

Beautifully deep golden color. The nose is reminiscent of chenin blanc in that it has a crazy amount of honeysuckle on the nose, along with oxidized and bruised apples, nuts and just a touch of honey. The palate follows from the nose, but with a rich acidity the belies the fact it's over a decade old. The finish is long lasting and light as a feather, surprisingly enough.

A marvel of process. Bruised yellow fruit. Toasted almond skin. Citrus oil. Complex texture and broad palate. Only thing better thing than the wine itself is the shop's label warning customers to ask about the wine prior to purchase. Keep scaring people away so I can drink the rest.

Four years in barrel! Challenging in a fun way.Thick yellow gold. Intense. Chewy. Super dense. Tightly wound. Exceptionally bright. Not a hint of its 11 years is showing. This wine will outlive us all.

This was excellent! Turpentine, golden raisins, honey. I could go on. Lots of complexity.
