Very nice. Good vintage, fine fruit and acidity, long finish.

Today we are on a tasting of different Pol Roger vintages. The 2004 is very nice, a clean taste of aged Champagne

I hope all of you are enjoying the holidays as much as Ben Horne enjoyed the Brie and butter baguette.

Opened 20150328, in celebration of my father, Lou, on his birthday. Vivid, golden straw color, with a base of toast & pear, and hints of citrus & mineral. Nicely representative of its 60% Pinot Noir composition. A "big" champagne with a superb and an enduring finish, representative of its intended celebrant. (Thank you, John!) [12 hours later: As above, but with even more citrus and toast. That said, what a finish!]
