Turley Fredericks Vineyard Zinfandel 2013

...Deep purple, full-bodied, with great freshness and precision, the old vines have produced gorgeously pure fruit, plenty of blackberry, black cherry and currant notes, and a zesty mouthfeel. There's no sense of heaviness or weight to this rich, concentrated Zinfandel... The balance between acid, fruit and tannin is impressive. Drink it over the next 8-10 years. Robert Parker

Celebrating the end of picking Zinfandel at Bedrock and a rare harvest morning with no pick tomorrow with this bad boy. Tegan knocked it out of the park.

Taking a page out of Larrys book and BBQ chicken pizza on the 4th of July...amazing wine!

Strong cherry notes. Yes, the alcohol is a bit high, but I don't personally see that as a bad thing. Great with fried green tomatoes!

Decanted 2 hrs. Chocolate, blueberries, hint of vanilla. Medium tannins with surprisingly silky mouthfeel and extended finish. Fabulous and would've rated even higher if the alcohol was a tad lower.

Less than $25 at the winery, what's not to like? Plenty of fruit and spice, yet easy drinking. Just a touch of heat, but really nice at cellar temp.
