Always surprising guts to this wine. Better in a couple years

Initial impression begins with rustic funk on the nose. On the palate black cherries, stone, bacon and olives. Finish shows a hint of pepper that is rounded out with nice acidity. This is a nice low alcohol (13.4 abv) pop and pour, well balanced wine. Would love to try this again in a couple years.

Well balanced. Decanted for about 45 minutes. Disappointed initially, but was pleasantly surprised when revisited on day two. Black and red fruit predominate. Long finish with a hint of spice.

Primary, bright red fruit, zippy acidity- needs time to darken and realize its potential.
