...Remarkably pure, this shows fine tension, acidity lifting the fruit and allowing this to finish with lingering flavor, what seems to be the pure essence of fruit. Fresh, clean and penetrating, it is delicious (in its dry and steely way—don't expect sweetness!) and beautifully structured. Loureiro and Ameal always specialize in the most elegant of wines, fresh and clean... If you want a crisp, fresh white, though, with the crispness to pair with shellfish and the elegance to drink on its own, it's hard to do much better... There were just 2,000 bottles produced.
