The bouquet is pure and vibrant, wafting from the glass in a youthful blend of sweet dark berries, woodsmoke, dark soil tones, cigar wrapper, espresso and incipient notes of tree bark. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and nicely balanced, with very good depth at the core (particularly for the vintage), moderate tannins and a long, youthful and very promising finish...
