Odette Estate Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

9.373 ratings on Delectable
$129

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate exhibits graphite, blackberry and cassis, chocolate and a touch of mineral in a full-bodied, layered and impressively pure style. ItÆs a big wine for Stags Leap...but gorgeously pure, with everything well-knit into a sensational equilibrium... Robert Parker

Lots of fruit up front. Good balance. Strong showing from Napa.

Mounds and mounds of fruit laced with spices and lead. I feel like these wines sometimes get lost the sea of their peers but great wine nonetheless.

At Ruth's Chris enjoying wonderful steaks with Oakville Ranch & Odette side by side. Great pair!

Surprisingly unimpressed. Heard great recommendations about Odette but I was cautious and feel justified in my reservation. It was this against an 2013 Dancing Hares and not even close. Miss the boat on the purchase. The wine is nice but overpriced for its current state. Still enjoyable though.
