No Girls Wines La Paciencia Vineyard Grenache 2011

$109

...Elegant and finesse driven, with a sweet bouquet of wild strawberries, mint, game, rose petal and dried flowers, it is medium to full-bodied, seamless and silky on the palate, with no hard edges. Already delicious, it will drink beautifully over the coming decade or more. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

A little green right now and slightly thin, likely owing to its youth, red raspberry and game meats. I'd hold.

This is a very interesting wine. Good nose, not a big wine, a precise wine with strawberry and a barnyard funk.

Trial over. Guilty on all counts. Justice prevails. Let's open some stuff. I'm a sucker for texture, and this wine has it in spades. Super silky mouth-feel. Smoked meats and bacon fat on the palate. Gamey, earthy, super dense. Lengthy finish. Just can't keep my hands off these wines now, but my guess is that they will just get better with time.

Hard too confirm on the nose due to the normal Cayuse funk, but this actually "tasted" corked.
