375 READY! loads of red berries, flowers & potpourri, suede, truffle & minerals ~ juicy & silky cherry & dried cranberry, hint of orange peel, lots of tar into licorice with a slight wave of menthol circling back on the finish

Even in powerhouse vintages this is a charming feminine expression of Barolo

Very typical barolo. Nice tannins. Rich ruby color. Nice acidity. Enjoyed it with a classic Piedmont eggy pasta dish made with tagliolini pasta made with lemon zest, course ground black pepper and parm cheese. It was yummy and the wine was the X factor

Tour of Italy Tasting Workshop at Corkbuzz Chelsea Market. A powerhouse Barolo that is starting to shed its youth. Basil and thyme notes, with high acidity and high tannin. Pairs well with Grana Padano cheese or anything with mushroom flavors.
