Heinrich Mayr (Nusserhof) B....... Bianco Blatterle 2013

The 2013 B……. is without question one of the most compelling, unique Alto Adige whites I tasted this year. Exotic, almost tropical aromatics meld into a core of sweet apricot, peach, lemon confit, petrol and honey as this intensely perfumed, racy white shows off its considerable personality. Although the flavors are quite bold, the 2013 is bright, focused and beautifully nuanced throughout. This is an absolutely stunning white from Heinrich Mayr. Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
