...Aromas of smoke, asphalt, meat, game, truffle, and blueberry soar from the glass. On the palate this full-bodied Shiraz is velvety-textured, layered, spicy, and richly fruity... it has enough structure to evolve for several years and should drink well through 2025. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Still outstanding in all respects and fully resolved. Wonderful.

Amazing ability to hide 17.5% ABV, it's not a sweet wine but was perfect with dessert and cheese. P&P, so never really spread its wings, but this is distinctive stuff. No heat on the nose (scorched earth, leather). Lots going on - liquorice, compote, kirsch. Some heat at the back of the palate, but not detracting from overall excellence.

Another monster, powerful 17.5% VOL. Fruity and sweet, good wine to drink before go to bed.
