The palate is medium-bodied with ultra-fine tannins and a silky texture that makes it very pleasant and easy to drink. Drinking beautifully today, it should last quite a bit. Drink 2016-2021. 14 months in French oak (2nd use) Good, fresh vintage Beautiful nose showing complex and powerful black cherry and sweet liquorice notes with a real granitic minerality along with intense violets, light touch of wet tabacco and wild herbs. Amazing structure. The palate shares this structure and has blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry with a very long, ripe finish. Outstanding but still a pup!
