Golden yellow with pale reflections at the rim. Nose of lemon/pear skin/hints of pineapple, caramel, nuts, and a thread of mint and a nice mineral/flint tone. The palate possesses a dizzying array of flavors. The same fruits and caramel and nuttiness play out and are joined by a lemon oil, and light straw note. Big and broad and at the same time precise and delineated. This was fantastic, and firing on all cylinders. Gained depth as the hours unfolded.

Fresh and vivid on the nose. Lime, lemon, honeyed notes, a slatey core. Some of the 2010 sweetness with a bit of tang. Lovely and light and fresh. With time oyster shells and a refreshing salinity but the heft and punch of meursault. Like great Chablis consommé. So deft and lucid. Wonderful.
