Shows the powerfully ripe profile of this vintage, with a large core of lemon and grapefruit gelée mixed with honeysuckle, white peach and gooseberry notes. This Sancerre has one foot in the litter box and one foot in chalky soil. Intense nose has a bit of cat pee, but also some intense and bright minerality and ultra crisp gooseberry fruit with a squeeze of freshly cut lemon. Round yet very lively in the mouth. Great interplay of sharpness and mineral texture. Long finish and nicely-integrated acids. A wine you can love and yet not like a little bit.

All things Sancerre. Citrus, melon, acidity plus a plush texture.
