Domaine François Raveneau Vaillons Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2007

A discreet background note of wood influence sets off an ultra pure nose of lemon peel, soil hints and sea breeze aromas that continue onto the intensely mineral and vibrant middle weight flavors that are supported by bright and ripe acidity on the oyster shell infused finish. I really admire the intensity here as this really stains the palate. Lovely juice. Burghound.com

Showing well not spectacularly--needs a bit more time and there's a big gap between this and the next levels up--Butteaux and MdT. Still delicious, with great minerality, but no ⚡️.

Great minerality, lots of stone fruit, a baby though.

'07 vintage--Love this wine normally, but showed a little bit of sulphur early on that eventually blew off. Seawater, brine and lemons.
