Pale, bright yellow. Tangy aromas of orange, lemon, crushed stone and smoke. Fine-grained and deep, displaying lovely depth to its citrus and floral flavors...In an essentially fruity, supple style, finishing with good energy and fresh herbal lift. Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media

One of those wines that make you think you needn't look much further. Of course I'll look much further, but this wine was just about it. Superb bottle.

Round nose of quince (and brief tropical) fruit, as well as spice, chalky minerality, and floral notes at the finish. Palate is far more expressive and round, with juicy, vibrant fruit, lees and malic richness, and pungent vibrant floral and herbal character overall. Not classic Chablis but still very much delicious and classically approachable even for Raveneau.
