A glorious wine. 2011 Raveneau are great. Light, bright, transparent, lucid. An intense rock pool nose with slate, lime, honeysuckle. A touch of grapefruit. Quite light on the palate but very defined and delicious. Not super long on the finish but refreshing and complex. Perfect with the lobster salad. A study in the power of complexity over power and focus over richness.

Very lifted and bright. Delicate lemon, bright floral notes, a lovely saline core. Fresh and full of vivacity. Great stuff.

Very fresh and lifted with a chalky, limey quality and a touch of honey and sandalwood. Young and focused and crisp with good acidity.

Quite restrained on the nose. Oily limey chalky. A very poised and balanced mid palate- quite savory with good minerality.

In such a fantastic spot with decades ahead. Taunt and wide. A remarkable wine

More citrus notes than I typically find in Raveneau. Lucky to have had enough chances to form an opinion!

A stunning tight mineral core of tastiness wrapped around honey comb and almonds. Much more showy than 12 months ago
