Domaine de la Pépière Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie Melon de Bourgogne 2014

If there is a better French white wine value out there than the "regular bottling of Muscadet from Domaine de la Pepiere, I would like to taste it! The 2014 version is excellent delivering a bright and wide open bouquet of lemon, green apple, salty ocean air, a touch of hay from its lees aging and lovely minerality. On the palate the wine is fullish, bright and extremely generous at the core, with lovely focus and grip, bright acids and superb bounce and complexity on the long finish. In top vintages like 2014, this bottling has always offered as much flavor intensity as one can find for the price! 2015-2025. John Gilman, A View from the Cellar

I really wish we had more great Muscadet on the market, I really feel it's an undervalued segment, they're always a little too inexpensive for this market though, but for everyday drinking they hit the spot on so many levels.
