Domaine Bruno Clair Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay 2014

$149

The 2014 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru has an attractive bouquet with apple blossom, white peach and a hint of toffee apple on the nose that displays more gumption than others that I have encountered from barrel. The palate is very well balanced with a crisp line of acidity. There is a touch of salinity here, good weight in the mouth with dried honey and quince towards the long finish. This is a classy Corton-Charlemagne. eRobertParker.com

Very fruity nose that went from pear to pineapple preserves. The fruit is slightly fake... Structure wise, amazing. 2014 is such a good year and it shows through here.

Forward and fatty, wide open. Drinking well for a youthful wine and not one I’d wager on cellaring for too long
