Clos De La Roilette Clos de la Roilette Fleurie Gamay 2015

9.031 ratings on Delectable
$19.99

Deep ruby. Heady red and blue fruit, potpourri and fruitcake aromas show excellent clarity and pick up a minerally nuance with air. Combines power and finesse with a deft hand, offering palate-staining black raspberry and boysenberry flavors that spread out slowly on the back half. Shows real intensity and a suave floral pastille quality... Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media

Delicious even though I prefer freshness of 2014.

Not super fruity forward like a lot of the gamay wines I've had. A little more earth, deeper flavor, a little more complex.

Typical. Drinkin that gamay again. What's new? Aside from a 3 month sabbatical from vino land/return to wino world and a move across the country, not a whole lot!

Lovely, light fruit with the right balance of acid and tannin. Very quaffable!

Pretty much as good as Beaujolais gets for me. Plenty of structure in this vintage, while still full of that gamay fruit. Now or long (ish) haul.

Bright fruit. Surprisingly long finish for such a young wine. A little glycerine taste on the finish. Odd in that it is seems to be losing flavor while open. But smooth and good mouthfeel. Drank with Ryan and JB with cooked goose from Della.
