Mark and I agreed to meet up at Classic this afternoon for some quick wine drinking, but it eventually turned in to a small wine gathering! Wine is great, but sharing it with others is so enjoyable. For those who care, this was a Parker 100, and I am happy to report that I can at least see the reason behind it. 80% cab franc, 20% Merlot...LOVE those percentages! Not even close to peaking, but so freaking good now. No green pepper here. Blackberry, creme de cassis, no harsh tannins, very well integrated. I don't foresee this going 20+yrs, but my goodness it is silky smooth now!
