...A soft, sexy, near-term style of claret with a deep plum/ruby/purple-tinged color, a big, sweet nose of anise, creme de cassis, smoke, Provencal herbs, and some spice box, it is opulent, fleshy, not profoundly concentrated, but rich enough. Everything is nicely balanced with silky tannin and low acidity...this is a seductive wine... Robert Parker

Drink up soon. From mag and lacking much fruit.

Not too much terroir, not alcoholic but a touch of raisins. Drink up.

2003 vintage. Musty and dusty old leather bound books with a hint white sage in the nose. That light Talbot body. Coming together nicely. Still a little upfront plushiness in the gums with the milk chocolate/tobacco notes on a long, supple finish. Drinking great currently.
