Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Columbia Valley, Washington. Bright Ruby with black fruit and espresso aromas. Made from 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot, aged 22 months in 62% new French oak, showing cherry and coffee flavors on dusty tannins, nicely balanced ending with gentle spice and oak notes.
