Château Latour à Pomerol Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2000

$289

A wine with a reserved, yet complex nose of blackberries, raspberries and flowers. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a soft, sweet fruit finish. A beautiful wine to taste. Hard not to drink this. Best I have had in years. The real thing. Better than the 1998. Best after 2010. Robert Parker

2000 vintage. Earthy, tobacco nose. Medium body. Silky-fine tannins with a long, slightly beef-brothy finish. Not throwing as much sediment as expected. Could glide along for another 5-7 years without noticeably dropping off

Still got some years left but is great drinking now. Still retaining a good amount of fruit.
